A better room that would otherwise go unsold.

Offered to the right guest, the day before they arrive.

The offer arrives in a conversation the guest actually reads, only when the room is free, and a yes goes straight onto their booking.

How it works today

The better room is free, and nobody hears about it.

Today

01Upgrade their room

Guest friction

The guest misses the offer when they are most likely to buy.

Team friction

The hotel has a better room available but no simple way to sell it.

Today

02Choose between rooms

Guest friction

The offer is a line in an email, with no way to see what the room is like.

Team friction

Someone at the desk describes the room over the phone, then changes the booking by hand.

Timing

The day before, while the room is still empty and the guest is already packing.

An upgrade lands best around 24 hours before arrival. We check live availability first, so a guest is only offered a room that is actually free.

That means some guests never see an offer, which is deliberate. Offering a room you cannot give costs more goodwill than offering nothing.

Who sees which offer

The reason for the stay decides.

We have already asked why they are coming. An anniversary and a Tuesday business stay should see different offers, and a family may care more about the room with space for a cot than about the suite.

Showing the room

A message for one room. A short page when there is a choice.

A couple of lines are enough to offer a single room. When there are two or three to choose between, the guest gets a short page with photographs and the difference in price, linked from the conversation, so they can decide at a glance.

On the booking

They say yes, and it goes straight onto the reservation.

The room type changes on the reservation in your PMS and the difference goes on the folio, so it is settled with the rest of the bill at checkout. Nobody re-keys anything, and nobody takes a card for it.

Your SOPs come first

Which rooms, at what price, and who approves an exception.

Your rules decide which room types can be offered, the price for each, and when a person should step in. We set the offers up to follow them, and change them when your rates change.
