Will guest messaging work with our PMS?

The short answer

Almost certainly. We connect to any PMS with usable endpoints, and we are official partners of Oracle Opera, Guestline and many other PMS providers. We read the reservation, check live availability and write back where your team already looks. A legacy PMS does not rule you out either.

How deep it goes

It reads, checks and writes back.

We read the reservation, so the message knows who is arriving, in what room type, and when. We check live availability, so an upgrade is only offered when there is one. We write back, so what the guest tells us reaches your team.

On Opera that is a trace on the reservation in the standard view. Whatever you run, we put it where your people already look.

Legacy systems

An older PMS does not rule you out.

Where a PMS has no usable API, we take reservation data from the channel manager instead, which holds most of what we need. That route carries OTA and direct bookings. It does not carry in-house detail such as live folio balances or room moves, so a legacy property can have pre-arrival and in-stay messaging, and checkout waits until the PMS can be read.

Follow-up questions

Do we need to change PMS?

No. We connect to the PMS you already run and leave it where it is.

What do you need from us to connect?

Access for your property, arranged with you at the kick-off. On Opera that is OHIP, on Guestline an interface Guestline set up, and on Cloudbeds an access key your admin creates.

Does anything change for our team?

No. The work lands where your team already looks, so nobody has to open another system to find it.

Built around your hotel. Managed by us.

What are your guests trying to do that is harder than it should be?

Bring us the action, the brand, the awkward systems and the operational reality. We will shape the message for each channel and build the easiest route through them.

Show us where guests get stuck. Nothing to prepare. Sometimes the honest answer is that you do not need us.
